Studio Space Cadet is run by me, artist & writer Suzanna de Ridder.  With images and words, I like to weave a dreamlike world where the mundane and surreal are intertwined. 
In my work, the deeply personal becomes public and political. Through quiet and subtle narratives, viewers are invited to slow down and reflect on their own experiences of the world and their place in it. Curiosity and melancholy go hand in hand, serious but never sombre, and questions are rarely answered. The point is to wonder.
